As a blogger, I’m always looking for ways to increase my audience reach. If you’re a blogger too, I’m sure you can relate.
Since my mission is always to help you build a successful blog, I’ve compiled a list of 31 Places To Share Your Blog Post For Free!
You’ll find out later in this post.
Content is King
No matter how many places you share your blog post, if the content isn’t high quality, your traffic won’t increase.
Write long-form content (over 1,000 words) that is niche-specific and is easy to ready. Use headings, sub-headings, numbered lists, and bullet points so that your content is easy to skim.

Optimize Your Website
Getting more traffic to your blog starts with optimizing your website for social sharing.
If you haven’t already, install social share buttons on your site. These buttons will make it easier for your readers to share your posts with their audience.
Make your posts easy to share with buttons at the top and bottom of each post.
Better yet, install Sumo, which offers free social share buttons that will float on the side or at the bottom of each post as readers scroll.
You can customize your buttons to match your websites palette, and keep social sharing at the forefront of your reader’s attention.
Now that you’ve added social sharing to your website, let’s get to the goodies!
Implementing These Resources
Don’t try to share all of your posts to all 31 of these platforms.
Take them one by one, and decide which of these will work best as part of your overall content strategy.

31 Places To Share Your Blog Post For Free
You may already be using some of these platforms, but hopefully you’ll find at least a few that will be new to you.
Google Search Console
The first place you should share your blog post is on the Google Search Console.
This will get your new post indexed with Google.
Make sure you are using relevant keywords so that your post will be more likely to show up in search results.
Hopefully you have a Facebook Page for your blog. If not, creating one should be near the top of your to-do list.
Even with the funky algorithms, Facebook is still a great source for driving traffic to your blog.
If you’re not using the Jetpack plugin to post automatically to your page, be sure to share your blog post to Facebook yourself.
If your niche is interesting to your personal Facebook friends, share your post to your timeline.
Tag friends that will find your blog post valuable and ask them to share it with their friends.
Be careful with this! If you write posts that have a very specific audience, this method may cause more harm than good.
Also, use this method sparingly so you don’t aggravate your friends. I made that mistake as a newbie, so just giving you fair warning.
There are a dozens of Facebook Groups for bloggers of all niches to share your blog posts.
Just be mindful of the group rules, since you’ll be expected to reciprocate the favor if you participate in the group threads. Don’t be an ass.
Blogger Facebook Groups have been key to my own growth and they can really help expand your audience reach.
I believe in the potential of these groups so much that I created my own group, Next Level Bloggers.
In my group you’ll not only have daily threads to share your content, but you’ll get access to guest post and collaboration opportunities you won’t find elsewhere.
Join the Next Level Bloggers Facebook Group here. It’s totally free and it’s a great place to connect and grow with other bloggers.
Over a billion tweets are sent out every day, so it’s no surprise that Twitter should be one place that you share your blog post.
Because of the fast pace of Twitter, there are a few things to keep in mind when sharing a new post.
Tweet your post several times for the first week after publishing.
I use the following schedule:
- Day 1 – 5 times a day
- Day 2 – 3 times a day
- Days 3-7 – 2x a day
Use industry and keyword hashtags in your tweets for more exposure. If you need ideas, check out other bloggers in your industry or visit Hashtags.org.
Don’t overdo it, though. Using two to three hashtags per tweet is sufficient, so your link doesn’t get lost between hashtags.
Use different hashtags in each tweet to expand your reach even further.
Ask For ReTweets
Getting your content retweeted is how posts go viral on Twitter.
Follow and tag accounts in your tweet that like to retweet bloggers. You’ll reach thousands of additional Twitter users when your post is retweeted, driving more traffic to your blog.

Pinterest has become my number one source of blog traffic and I strongly recommend that you get on the Pinterest bandwagon, no matter what your niche is.
Share your post to your main Pinterest board, which should only include pins from your website.

Pinterest Group Boards
Once you’re using Pinterest, group boards can give your posts added exposure.
When you pin to group boards, other pinners will see your pins and share them by pinning to their own boards.
Many bloggers just like you have had pins go viral as a result of pinning to group boards.
Of course you have to have eye-catching images optimized for Pinterest and great content to back it up, but pinning to group boards is the #1 way to grow on Pinterest.
You can even create your own group boards to attract pinners and grow your Pinterest account. My own group boards Blogging Tips and Family Life have helped me get blog traffic and find great content to share with my followers.
Depending on your niche, sharing your blog post on LinkedIn could get the attention of niche influencers and editors.
LinkedIn is geared towards making business connections and networking.
If you’re a VA, coach, digital strategist or technology blogger, LinkedIn is a great tool for finding collaboration opportunities.
Take your reach even further on LinkedIn by sharing your blog post through LinkedIn’s Publisher.
LinkedIn will promote your content for you and users following your posts topic may even receive an email notification about your post.
This is of course, for you if you’re already writing content that makes sense for LinkedIn.
I don’t have a lot of experience using Instagram since I’m having trouble finding it to be a relevant platform for my niche.
That being said, Instagram is huge for lifestyle, beauty, fashion and food bloggers.
On Instagram, your images are what gets you attention. If you include awesome photos in your blog posts, be sure to add them on Instagram.

One of my favorite apps for sharing my blog posts is StumbleUpon. I actually get quite a bit of traffic from StumbleUpon with very little effort.
Create an account and start uploading your content. StumbleUpon will randomly show your posts to Stumblers, and upvote your content with a like, which gets your posts more visibility.
Choose relevant topics and tags so the right people see your content.
Like all platforms, be sure to stumble other content, too.
Google is king and having your blog post shared on Google Plus gets your blog more credibility with Google.
Jetpack makes it easy for you, since you can set up auto post to have your blog post shared to your Google Plus account automatically.
Join Google Plus communities for connecting with people interested in your niche. Create collections for all of the topics you cover in your niche to keep your posts organized and easy to sort through for followers.
Snapchat is popular social network app, especially for millennials.
If you’re already using Snapchat, you’re a step ahead of most of us. Share your blog posts on Snapchat and capture a whole new audience for your blog.

Adding a link to your latest blog post in your email signature is another smart move.
If you don’t have a custom signature for your emails, you should create one right now.
Include a link to your blog, your social media links and a link to your latest post or awesome freebie.
If you’re not sure where to start, use Hubspot’s Signature Generator to create a custom signature easily.
One of the most obvious, but often missed places to share your blog post is with your email list. I’m guilty of this myself, and it’s an issue I’m working on for 2018.
Think about it, though.
People sign up for your list because they like your stuff! They would also love to know when you have a new blog post.
If you feel like your sending too many emails, create a monthly newsletter with a round-up of your posts for the month.
Don’t forget to ask them to share your post with their friends.
Did you include links to other blogger’s content in your post?
If so, once you’ve published your post, send them an email and let them know.
Everyone loves to be featured or recommended, and many times you’ll get your post shared with their audience.
Just make sure the blog post is up to par and provides an accurate and favorable mention.
This is also a great way to get on other blogger’s radar and could open doors for future collaboration.
When leaving comments on other blogs, which you should be doing regularly, you’ll get a link to your latest post added if the blogger uses CommentLuv.
CommentLuv is a free plugin for WordPress. Using it in place of your theme’s default comment tool will also help you get more comments.
I use it myself, which means if you leave a comment below (hint, hint), you’ll get a link back to your blog post published with your comment.
Pretty cool, right?
Quora is a platform for asking questions and getting answers.
Use your expertise to answer questions on a plethora of topics, but specifically those related to your blog post.
Be specific with your answers and give a complete answer without having to click-through to your blog. Pull your content in as a reference for more information on your answer.
Quora offers an excellent opportunity to show off your knowledge and help build your reputation as an authority in your niche.
Scoop.it is a popular resource for finding great content to be shared across the web.
You can add your own blog posts and use relevant tags to get your blog post found by those needing information on your topic.
An often overlooked platform, take advantage of getting your post indexed by this site.
Share your blog posts about business, marketing, finance and management on BizSugar.
Your posts gain traction with upvotes and likes and help you build connections with others in your industry.
Another popular resource for content curation is Inbound.org.
Share your blog post and create a custom description to get your post found on Inbound.org.
No matter what your niche is, you’ll most likely find a topic relevant to your post. Users can like your posts and comment on them, getting your posts more attention.
Viral Content Bee
Viral Content Bee is a fairly new platform but a great example of the power of spreading the love.
Share your blog post, then share other bloggers’ content to get more post shares of your own content!
I love this idea and it’s easy to find relevant content in your niche to share and earn credits.
Medium is a free blogger platform but is a great tool to use in conjunction with your self-hosted blog.
Share your blog posts easily by connecting directly to WordPress.
Just be sure to include links to your content within your post to drive traffic to your website.
Reddit is a popular platform for finding news, memes and gifs.
You can share your blog post link in different communities that have a relevant audience. No matter what your niche is, you’ll find a variety of topics to post in.
Users are able to share, comment and like your post on Reddit. If your post gets a lot of engagement it will rank higher in users’ feeds.
If you’re an artist or blog about fashion, design, or web culture, you can share your blog post on Ello.
Ello is known as “the creators network” and is a great place to connect with other artists and grow your blog’s audience.
Like any platform, be supportive of others on Ello and you’ll have more success.
Kingged.com is an online community where bloggers connect and you can share your blog posts.
There are some very helpful bloggers on Kingged that go above and beyond to help bloggers get their content seen.
Bloglovin’ is a popular place to find new blogs and share your blog posts.
It’s also an excellent place to find other bloggers in your niche that are interested in collaboration.
If you want to grow your tribe, Bloglovin’ is a great place to start.
Triberr lets you share your blog posts and connect with other bloggers.
You’ll find bloggers in all niches ready to get to know you and more about your blog.
Triberr also works on the system of the more you share content of others, the more your blog gets attention.
You’ll get connection and growth with Triberr.
You’ll find a category to share your blog post on Alltop, no matter what your niche is.
Alltop automatically pulls posts from your RSS feed to share with members.
It’s also a great place to find relevant content to share with your own audience or inspire you for future posts.
Pocket allows you to share your blog post and be found by other Pocket users looking for content with your content.
Pocket makes it easy for users to read articles at their leisure by clicking save.
Their sleek and user friendly app is an opportunity to have your content discovered by an entirely new audience.
Digg is a social bookmarking site that covers trending topics on the web, sharing videos and articles.
You can share your blog post on Digg, and give it the chance to go viral.
31 Day Blog Traffic Building Challenge
At the beginning of this post, I told you there was a reason for listing 31 places to share your blog post.
They say it takes 30 days of doing something new to turn it into a habit. Marketing your blog should be something you are doing daily if you are serious about your blog.
